Ezdan Hotels bags two medals at “Hospitality Qatar 2016”
Ezdan Hotels Company, one of Ezdan Holding Group subsidiaries, has won two bronze medals in two different categories of cooking in the Salon Culinaire’s global competition held within Hospitality Qatar 2016 Exhibition, organized recently at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).
The completion was a unique and exciting experience, attracting reputable chefs worldwide making international culinary masterpieces.
The contest lasted all the 3 days exhibition, and included 17 different categories of dishes in order to test the participating teams and their capacities in preparing the diverse varieties of dishes and cuisines. The contests attracted the most talented chefs in the world such as Malaysia, Thailand, South Africa, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. The event was a great opportunity not only to compete for the win, but also to demonstrate skills of chefs and teams participating and their art of presenting their special products that characterize each team.
Commenting on the event, General Manager of Ezdan Hotels Mr. Hasib Kayali said: “Ezdan chefs team has won, which made us feel proud, as they were keen to shine the spotlight on Ezdan Hotels branding by demonstrating their special talents in diverse culinary arts, showing their dedication to prepare delicious varieties of dishes and cuisine specialities. This is our trademark at our hotels, a flagship of excellence and that is why we won two medals, a well-deserved win by our dedicated team”.
Mr. Hasib added that Ezdan Hotels is eager to participating in various local and international gatherings with great interest to showcase their potentials in various hotel areas, pointing out that the exhibition was a unique platform to introduce Ezdan hotels and attract audience from around the world to let them know about the unique products that distinguish Ezdan chain of hotels from others.
He also stressed the importance of the contest as an opportunity to enhance Ezdan team culinary skills as well as to exchange experiences in this field with the other competitors and gain more expertise to be a key player in future similar events.
It is noteworthy that Ezdan Hotels participated in the Qatar International Food Festival, which was held in April in the Islamic Museum Park, through a dedicated pavilion, offering wide range of flavoursome dishes and attracting more than 3,000 visitors.
