The Curve Hotel joins hand with HMC to hold blood donation campaign
The Curve Hotel, one of Ezdan Holding Group hotels, has organized a one-day blood donation campaign in cooperation with a specialized team from Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
The hotel staff and guests have shown great interest in the campaign, in which significant number of donors flocked and actively contributed. This drive is the Hotel’s first contribution in the field of social responsibility and community service since the announcement of its partial opening last year.
The Curve management has allocated a hall for setting up the Blood Donation Unit, and provided all necessary facilities and support for HMC medical staff. For a safe donation process, donors received healthy meals for donation, along with some post donation instructions and guidelines.
Managed by HMC’s medical staff, donors have gone through the registration and other donation necessary processes. While the Hotel’s staff organized and supervised the process in relation to donors and participants.
On the event, General Manager of Ezdan Hotels Mr. Hasib Kayali, said: “in the Curve Hotel, we believe in the importance of making a positive contribution to the community, and not only limiting our activities and endeavors to reach excellence in the hospitality sector. From this point, we partnered with HMC to encourage our staff to donate and raise awareness on the benefit blood donation brings to our local community and beloved country. We have seen a great turnout from our staff and guests, the fact that demonstrates a sense of responsibility and belief in the values of humanitarian and charitable work. We will continue to support our society for further development and advancement by all means”.
